How we are funded
The Malaria Capacity Development Consortium (MCDC) was awarded a £7.3 million grant by the Wellcome Trust to extend and expand the doctoral and postdoctoral capacity development programme funded previously by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF), through the Gates Malaria Partnership (GMP).
The consortium is seeking additional funding from BMGF to allow it to sustain the investment in the doctoral and postdoctoral scientists who have been trained through the GMP.
